Hailing from Fauquier County, Sgt. Brooks embarked on his volunteer journey during his junior year of high school at Orlean Volunteer Fire Company. This commitment began when he enrolled in the Fire Science Program at Fauquier High School, igniting his passion for firefighting and rescue work. After completing the program, he made the transition to WVFC. Throughout his remarkable six-year service tenure, Sgt. Brooks has consistently distinguished himself as a top call runner, and even lived at the firehouse for three-and-a-half years, demonstrating his unwavering dedication to the community. His relentless pursuit of excellence has propelled him up the ranks, where he currently serves as a Sergeant, a testament to his commitment and leadership within the organization.
