Gus has dedicated more than 33 years of his life to serving the Commonwealth of Virginia, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to the fire and rescue profession. His impressive list of qualifications includes being a Pro-Boarded Fire Fighter, an Instructor II, an Officer II, and a certified Virginia Emergency Medical Technician/EMT. Gus has also earned additional command, leadership, and teaching certifications at both the state and national levels, underscoring his expertise in the field. In addition to his firefighting and emergency medical services roles, Gus brings a unique dimension to our team as a certified Industrial Chaplain. In this capacity, he provides essential spiritual and emotional support to our members, embodying the holistic approach to service that defines Warrenton Fire.
