Alarm 1001 was sounded for a traffic collision with entrapment. Rescue, Medic, and Engine 1 arrived on location to find a vehicle on all four, with three still trapped inside. The driver and front seat passenger were pinned as well. Engine 1 established Lee Hwy command while Rescue 1 went to work stabilizing the vehicle and preparing for the extrication. The roof and sides were removed, and the patients were transferred to the EMS crews. Units from New Baltimore were also on scene providing assistance with patient care and hazards. Engine 10 handled the LZ located at a nearby school, and was the ground contact for Air Care 1 and 3. Both front seat occupants were transported by heilcopper to iNOVA Fairfax hospital. The third patient was ground transported to Fauquier hospital for evaluation. Company 1 units remained on scene for an additional 20 minutes for cleanup.
