Box 0118 was dispatched for a traffic crash with rollover into a creek on Springs Rd. Wagon, Rescue, Medic, and AC 1 arrived to find a vehicle that had broken through layers of brush, striking a large tree prior to landing upside down in a frozen creek, 8 feet below the road surface. The driver had self-extricated the crumpled vehicle on their own, walking to a nearby home to ask for help. The Wagon and Rescue crews placed absorbent and mats to soak up the leaking oils and fuel. The Rescue and Wagon remained on scene for an additional 30 minutes to provide lighting for tow services.
