Monday, June 8, 2015 1939 – Box 0111 sounded for the traffic collision with entrapment. Engine 1, Ambulance 1-2, and Medic 1 arrived on scene to find a single vehicle off the road into a tree with significant damage. Engine 1 established command then began vehicle stabilization while Medic 1 and Ambulance 1-2 crews conducted patient care for the single occupant. Rescue 1 arrived on scene and starting the extrication process to remove the vehicle from the trapped occupant. The patient was transported to Fauquier Hospital in serious but stable condition.
