Saturday, January 31, 2015 05:17 – Box 0135 sounded for a traffic collision with confirmed entrapment. Units arrived to find an pickup truck had collided with a tractor trailer traveling northbound on James Madison Highway. The driver of the pickup truck was trapped and pinned with serious injury. Crews worked for 15 minutes to extricate the occupant. Once removed the patient was transported by medical helicopter to Fairfax Hospital. No other injuries were reported.
