Monday, June 23, 2014 – Box 0123 sounded for a traffic collision with entrapment. Units arrived to find a passenger van off the roadway. The van had crossed the median striking a guard rail. The driver of the van was trapped with serious injury. Crews worked for 5 minutes to extricate the occupant. Once removed the patient was ground transported to Fauquier Hospital. Two other passengers were also transported to Fauquier Hospital with minor injuries.
