Sunday, March 1, 2015 20:31 – Box 0113 sounded for a traffic collision with entrapment. Units arrived to find a passenger car and pickup truck had collided in the center of the roadway. The driver and passenger of the car were trapped with serious injury. Crews worked for 15 minutes to extricate the occupants. Due to their injuries a medical helicopter was requested for transport to a trauma center but was declined due to weather. Once removed the occupants were ground transported to Fauquier Hospital. The two occupants in the pickup truck refused treatment and did not require further care.
