Thursday, June 19, 2014 – Box 0112 sounded for a traffic collision with entrapment. Wagon and Medic one arrived to find a full size pickup truck towing a dump bed trailer off the roadway. The pickup truck collided with a tractor trailer sending it off the roadway. The driver of the pickup truck was severely trapped and pinned with serious injury. Crews worked for 20 minutes to extricate the occupant. Once removed the patient was air lifted to INOVA Fairfax.
