On Friday June 17th, 2016 at 0950 hours Rescue Squad 1 was requested on box 0207 for the occupant trapped in a vehicle. Chief 2 requested the Rescue Company after communications advised of the entrapment. Upon his arrival he established Marsh Rd command and confirmed one trapped in the vehicle, and requested a second engine bringing Wagon 1. Rescue Squad 1 arrived, met with the command officer and developed several plans of extrication. The occupant was extricated and turned over to medics from EMS and Aircare who airlifted the occupant to a waiting trauma center. This was the third entrapment from a vehicle collision in three days.
