Monday, July 6, 2015 1441 Box – 0111 sounded for the traffic collision involving an overturned dump truck. Units arrived on scene to find a dump truck on its side blocking all of Beach Rd. Battalion 2 established command. M1 evaluated and transported the single occupant with minor injuries. Engine 1 and Rescue 1 worked to secure the truck and mitigate the environmental damage from leaking fluids. Crews remained on scene till the truck was up righted and the hazards were mitigated. The scene was turned over to State Police for investigation.
