Jason Koglin

Assistant Fire Chief

Assistant Chief Koglin embarked on his journey with WVFC back in 1991. Born into a family deeply rooted in the fire and rescue tradition, with life members Retired Chief Dale Koglin and EMT Pat Koglin as parents, it’s safe to say that firefighting runs in his veins. With an impressive record of 32 years of dedicated volunteer service as both a firefighter and EMT, Chief Koglin has worn multiple hats during his tenure at WVFC. He’s not only lent his expertise as a career firefighter in Northern Virginia for 23 years but has also contributed to WVFC as an officer in various roles. Notably, he took on the role of Fire Chief from 2018 to 2020, further solidifying his commitment to the community’s safety.
