McDonald’s journey in the fire service began at the age of sixteen, driven by his unwavering passion and dedication to making a difference in his community. This dedication eventually led him to pursue a career in the field in 2014, marking a pivotal step in his lifelong commitment to service. His association with Fauquier County Fire and Rescue, which began in [insert year], has been characterized by continuous growth and achievement. His most recent milestone was the well-deserved promotion to Lieutenant in 2023. Throughout his journey, Lt. McDonald has found immense satisfaction in working alongside both the dedicated career staff and passionate volunteers of WVFC.

Outside of his demanding work in the fire service, Lt. McDonald’s life centers around his home in Ranson, WV, where he resides with his wife and daughter. Demonstrating his commitment to community involvement, he serves as a 4H leader in his hometown, further emphasizing his dedication to empowering and nurturing the next generation.
