Sunday, July 12, 2015 1906 Box – 0103 sounded for the commercial structure fire. Medic 1 was in the area and reported smoke coming from the vehicle bay. Several 911 calls were also placed by civilian witnesses. Wagon 1 arrived on scene and was confronted with a small fire along the inside of the back wall of the vehicle service area. The fire was contained to the area of origin with no major structural damage to the vehicle bay. The office area had little to no smoke damage. Crews spent less than 5 mins to extinguish the fire, then overhauled the vehicle bay and ventilated the structure over the next couple of hours. The building was closed as the time of the fire. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is unknown and being investigated by the Warrenton Police Department. Nothing suspicious was indicated.
