Saturday, January 10, 2015 16:30 – Box 1101 was struck for a reported structure fire. Chief 11 arrived on location advising they had a single story single family dwelling with fire showing from the garage and roof of the home. Chief 11 held command while crews advanced the initial attack lines. Chief 1 was assigned charlie division and Chief 10 was assigned alpha division. Crews operated multiple hand lines to extinguish the fire. Rescue 1 conducted searches and assisted with fire attack. While Wagon and Tanker 1 operated in water supply. No injuries were reported. Company 1 units remained on scene for approximately 3 hour 30 minutes.
The cause of the fire was not known and is being investigated.
