Box 0103 was struck for smoke and burning electrical odor in a restaurant. Engine 1 arrived on scene to find all occupants evacuated and lazy smoke in the plenum space and throughout the structure. Tower 1 laddered the structure and took the basket to the roof. Engine 19 performed a reverse lay to the hydrant and their crew assisted searching the structure for the source. The Tower crew located an overheated HVAC unit on the roof. Power was isolated and the structure was ventilated. Units were on scene 30 minutes.
