We are reminding citizens and residents to help the fire department by clearing around your local fire hydrant. Seconds count in an emergency, and by ensuring the hydrants are easily accessible and visible, firefighters will be able to use the hydrant(s) more efficiently. Please also ensure access is made so first responders can access buildings and property quickly for an emergency.

Please clear three feet all the way around the hydrant. This will allow us access to properly connect our hose.
