This week the committee traveled to Pierce and reviewed progress of the apparatus. All the main components have been installed and mounted. The purpose of the post paint trip is to review progress and ensure the apparatus is being constructed as specified. The next trip will be in mid- June to complete final inspection before receiving the new apparatus. Next week, they will continue with compartment configuration and installing various systems, such as the HURST rescue system and other cab elements.
