Recent Activity
Yesterday our System demonstrated what teamwork is all about. Members from every single department in Fauquier County came out in force to respond to the 71 calls for service. Together with the support from Fauquier County Sheriffs Office, VDOT, and our amazing Communications division and some of our new recruits, all fires were contained and all members returned to their stations safely. After these incidents, Volunteers from Remington, Goldvein, and Warrenton continued the fight late into the night providing support to neighboring counties. Also, thank you to all of our citizens in the county for your continued concerns and support!
A big thank you to Cynthia (far right) and Terry (not pictured) from Moffett Manor Apartments who stopped by to say thank you and show us their appreciation! We love the card and will certainly be enjoying the box of Dunkin Donuts 🍩
WVFC is my second family -- I know I can always count on my fellow members. Some of my favorite people I have met just by washing the rigs in front of the firehouse. Volunteering at WVFC has pushed me to become a better version of myself.
WVFC has top-of-the-line equipment, and has helped me better my career path all while serving the community I love. My fellow members at WVFC are like my family -- they even came to my graduation from Prince William Fire and Rescue Recruit School. It is the members and leadership of WVFC that have pushed me to become a better person and a better firefighter.
The unconditionally supportive leadership and WVFC always help me to learn new skills to add to my skillset as a firefighter. With their top of the line tools and equipment, I know that I am in the right place to grow in my career.
