The Warrenton Volunteer Fire Company (WVFC) will be conducting live fire training on an acquired structure near the intersection of Lovers Lane and James Madison Highway on Sunday October 16th. Crews will be using live fire conditions from about 1000 until 1200 in an abandoned single family house that was donated to the WVFC for training use. Smoke will be visible from James Madison Highway and there may be concerns
that an actual uncontrolled fire is occurring, however all live fire conditions will be under strict safety compliance/regulations. There will be no danger or threat to the public nor surrounding property. A sign board will also be staged on James Madison Highway notifying the public of the live fire training.
