Last year we traveled to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety – Vehicle Research Center. Our staff received first hand training on new vehicle safety systems and how they affect our response during emergencies. Specifically in vehicle collisions where extrication is necessary. Here is the Status Report they provided on the impact of newer protection systems and how they’ve improved safety in vehicles.
