Fire Prevention & Open House

We’ve have another successful fire prevention month. Crews continue to make visits to our local schools for public education events. The last of the school visits wrap up the end of next week. Approximately 800 children attended one of our public education events throughout our service area. This past Saturday Oct. 18th. In conjunction with several community businesses and the Warrenton Baptist Church’s non-denominational out-reach program Operation” In as Much” Warrenton Fire conducted a smoke alarm initiative. To ensure residents had sufficient and properly working smoke alarms. Approximately 200 homes were reached. 17 smoke alarms were installed or replaced and 20 battery replacements provided. Saturday the 19th we had our open house. This was another huge success. We really enjoy spending the day sharing our work with the community.
