Box 0135 was sounded for a reported tractor fire. Engine 1 and Tanker 1 responded with 6 personnel. Engine 1 arrived on scene to find the rear of a flatbed trailer off. Ironically the load was fire retardant lumber. The Engine crew stretched the 200 foot cross lay and flowed foam quickly knocking down the fire. The Tanker arrived and set up a nursing operation for the Engine. The fire retardant lumber was saved and the trailer was a loss. The crews were on scene for 2 hours performing overhaul.
