Chief’s Message

Letter from the Chief

Welcome to our official website where you will find up to date information about our organization, along with safety information for you and your family. We hope you will take the time to check all pages of our site, and visit often to check for updates on the current events of the Warrenton Volunteer Fire Company (WVFC).

I am very proud of our fire company and the dozens of men and women that continually sacrifice and commit to the organization that we have come to call WARRENTON FIRE. The WVFC has a long standing and prideful history within the town of Warrenton and County of Fauquier. Being the first established Fire Company in the town and county, we have many years of service, tradition, and pride in the community. We are truly focused on our mission of serving the citizens and visitors of our community with the best possible care and professionalism.

As you browse through our web site, please take note of our public safety information, facilities and apparatus overview, and various activities and events we are a part of on a routine basis. As a “full service fire company”, we provide a variety of life safety services to the community in terms of emergency response and capability.

In conjunction and cooperation with the county’s Department of Fire, Rescue, and Emergency Management (DFREM), the Fauquier County Volunteer Fire and Rescue Association (VFRA), and the Town of Warrenton, we ensure response coverage on a 24/7 365 day schedule. On average, this accounts for over 4,500 incident responses annually.

Again, I am truly proud and fortunate to be in my position to oversee a great fire company that is known for hard work, dedication, and continual response coverage to ensure the community is constantly safe and taken care of.

Thank you again for visiting our web site and please feel free to visit or call the station anytime.
