Several members from the WVFC were recognized by the Fauquier County Chamber of Commerce on April 19th at the Fauquier County Springs Club for their work on a call that resulted in saving the life of a female and the child she was pregnant with. A call that should have taken a lot of time, and a lot of manpower was quickly handled with units from the WVFC. The crews swiftly assessed the situation and acted on the dire need to perform the life saving measures that they did. Three people were flown to area trauma centers all recovered without complications. We are thankful for our members who continue to represent the WVFC day in and day out with the highest level of professionalism and training.
