Tuesday, April 14, 2015 03:10- Box 0119 sounded for a reported barn fire in the area. Units arrived on scene to find a barn structure adjacent to a horse stable (30’x30′ and 100’x30′ respectively) both well involved with roof collapse. Crews from Warrenton, New Baltimore, Catlett, Warrenton Training center (DOD), and DFREM spent the next few hours extinguishing and overhauling the fire. Crews were successful in containing the fire and preventing it from spreading to other structures on the property. The scene has been turned over to the Fauquer County Sheriff’s Office fire investigators. No personnel or animals were injured due to the fire.
