The WVFC is sent six members to the Fire Department Instructor Conference Hands on Training Classes (FDIC HOT Classes). Members attended several classes over two days in Indianapolis, Indiana and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The conference is international and held annually in the City of Indianapolis. They have returned with various knowledge, skills, and abilities and are beginning to share that with members of the Company. Members gained and furthered their knowledge in the areas of firefighter survival, forcible entry, ground ladder work, victim rescue, firefighter rescue, ventilation, hose line operation, vehicle extrication and farm machinery emergencies.
