Alarm 0111 was sounded for an injury. Medic 1 responded with 2. Hearing the supplemental they immediately
requested support from Fire Company 1.
Wagon 1B responded with 3. Medic
1’s crew was guided to a patient who’s right arm had struck a spinning
propeller. The patient had a severe injuries
to his right arm with a partial amputation of his right hand. AirCare was requested and arrived 16 minutes
later. The patient was loaded onto AirCare1
and transported to the Trauma Center.
Company 1 units cleared after 35 minutes on scene.
Units on scene: Medic 1 and Wagon 1B
