Serving the Community
The Warrenton Volunteer Fire Company has been proudly serving Warrenton and Greater Fauquier County, VA since 1924. In that time the organization has help set the standard for response, membership, and it's business approach toward the fire service.

History
The fire company began with little more than a bucket brigade and man-pulled hose wagon, in the County Courthouse building. The company acquired and built a fire station on Main Street with a substation at 78 Lee St (now the Fauquier Sheriff's Office building). The company moved its entire operation in 1976 to West Shirley Avenue. The fire company is now in process to modernize that facility to carry its administration and operational efforts into the future.

Future Goals
The Fire Company is now making efforts to secure its financial future. The company is working on a plan to building affordable housing to senior citizens. With the help of tax-credits through the Virginia Housing Development the company will fund the project that should yield a rock-solid financial future.
